Ulaanbaatar City, Mongolia – (2025.02.18) “Golomt” JSC Board of Directors is pleased to announce 2024YE earnings and declare dividends. By the resolution No.00/01 of The Committee Meeting dated 17th of February, dividend per share of the 2024YE net profits will be 100 (one hundred) MNT per eligible ordinary shares, marking a total of 80,865,730,600 (eighty billion eight hundred and sixty five million, seven hundred thirty thousand six hundred) MNT to be distributed.
The dividend will be paid after obtaining relevant approvals from Bank of Mongolia and confirmation of the Annual General Meeting.
The bank expects dividend payment to be on the 25th of April, 2025 – to shareholders on the register by the day of the 2025 Annual General Meeting registration date.
In resolving to declare dividends to shareholders, the Board of Directors agreed on the following three factors:
1.In 2024, the bank reached a net profit of 407 billion MNT. The bank intends to capitalize on the earnings to expand its possible loan portfolio and maintain its growth potential in 2025.
2.Golomt Bank will pay special focus on risk management, specifically in regaining a strong capital buffer. Therefore, the bank aims to increase its capital adequacy ratio from current levels.
3.The bank seeks possibilities to offer it’s shares in the international markets to institutional investors in its medium term strategy. In the case of such developments, the bank subsequently hopes to improve liquidity of the stocks and thus increasing possibilities to converge market prices to its book value.
To conclude, the Committee has reached a decision to increase its dividend payment from the preceding year, while maintaining its capital adequacy ratio at a firm level.
