In line with this framework, a tripartite cooperation memorandum was signed among Golomt Bank, China Construction Bank /CCB/, and NetsUnion Clearing Corporation /NUCC/ during the “Cross-Border Digital Payment Solution Cooperation Project of Chinese-Mongolian Financial Institutions” event held in Hohhot, China, on July 24, 2024.
During the signing ceremony, the Chief Information Officer of Golomt Bank, Sainbileg Mandakh warmly welcomed all participants and stated: “The relationship between Mongolia and China is flourishing year by year, especially in financial digital transition, which is making successful results. This digital payment solution, developed in collaboration with NUCC and Golomt Bank’s long-term partner CCB, offers the most convenient and flexible payment option for individuals and corporates in China and Mongolia, saving both time and financial expenses.”
The implementation of this project will facilitate seamless and fast transactions for travelers in China and Mongolia, allowing for hassle-free e-wallet payments with comparably lower costs.
