Golomt Bank has organized the blood donation ‘’Give Life” campaign with the National Center of Blood Transfusion Research (NCBTR) for the fourth year.

“World Blood Donor Day” in order to expand the number of donors, and raise awareness of their good deeds, has been celebrated on June 14th around the world since 2005. Golomt Bank’s employees have a tradition of donating blood on this day for good health. Over the past three years, more than 300 employees have donated blood to save the precious lives of 1,000 people. Therefore, 25 of the total employees of the bank donate their blood regularly.

During the “Give Life” campaign, senior donors visited to inform young employees about the importance of donating blood and contributed to expanding the number of donors by setting an example.

Someone needs blood every 3 seconds in the world, and a single unit of donated blood can save up to three lives. Donating blood takes only 30 minutes at one time. Most people can give blood if they are in good health. Anyone aged between 17-60 and healthy can become a blood donor. Please join this humanity work that gives a precious life to others.
