Golomt bank recognized as “Water Ambassador”, signs Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Water Agency of Mongolia for the second year to further strenghten water management in Mongolia

On the occasion of the World Water Day celebrated on the March 21, 2025 the CEO of Golomt Bank, A. Odonbaatar and the Head of Water Agency, Z.Batbayar signed a MoU during the “Blue Gold-2” National Forum organised under the auspices of the President of Mongolia.

Within the framework of the Memorandum, we will partner to strengthen sustainable water management in Mongolia – ensuring the implementation of the Law on Water and the Law on Water Pollution Payments; increasing access to safe drinking water and sanitation under the Sustainable Development Goal 6; increasing surface water storage within the framework of the “333 Lakes” or One Soum – One Lake program; improving water recycling and gray water re-use by enterprises, and creating good practices, positive impacts, and promoting public awareness.
